The Fengqiao Experience in the New Era Demonstrates the Strengths of the Socialist System with Chinese Characteristics

Recently, the Pudong Branch of the Institute of Fengqiao Experience in the New Era and Chinese-style Modernization, jointly established by East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL) and Shanghai's Pudong New Area, was officially inaugurated at the Pudong New Area Urban Governance Academy.

Wang Hongzhou, Party Secretary of ECUPL, noted that the "Fengqiao Experience" in the new era is a vivid demonstration of the strengths of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics and a practical application of the people-centered development philosophy.

According to the announcement, the Pudong Branch will leverage ECUPL's multidisciplinary strengths alongside Pudong's hands-on experience in grassroots governance. It will focus on five major areas in the modernization of social governance: jointly cultivating talent in social governance for megacities; deploying professional teams to the grassroots level to tackle complex problems; distilling Pudong's governance experience into a series of publications; and building overseas research bases to promote "Pudong Experience" on the international stage.
