Third Symposium on Yu Yue Culture Held in Hangzhou

The third Symposium on Yu Yue Culture hosted by Fudan University and Hangzhou Linping District Government was held in Linping District, Hangzhou, on February 19. With the theme “Yu Yue in Chinese Cultural History,” it brought together experts and scholars from universities across the country, delivering in-depth exploration and interpretation of academic thinking of Yu Yue culture’s and historical and contemporary values, as well as insights on further exploring the profound historical and cultural heritage of Linping.

Yu Yue, a well-known Qing Dynasty scholar, is among Linping’s historical and cultural celebrities. Thus, Fudan University and Linping District have collaborated closely to hold three academic symposiums on Yu Yue culture, as well as conduct research on Yu Yue and other celebrities and refined traditional cultures in Linping. The subsequent results have aided the high-quality development of the local culture.
