Prof. Yu Wujin, a distinguished figure in China’s philosophical community, was deeply engaged in the study of Marxist philosophy, contemporary foreign Marxism, and the history of Western philosophy. He passed away in 2014 due to illness. In the decade since his passing, Fudan University’s School of Philosophy has been dedicated to preserving and disseminating Prof. Yu’s academic thoughts and humanistic spirit. After years of compilation, the “Complete Works of Yu Wujin,” co-edited by Wang Xingfu and Wu Meng, has been officially published by Beijing Normal University Publishing Group.

Prof. Wang Xingfu, chief editor of the “Complete Works of Yu Wujin” and a faculty member at Fudan University’s School of Philosophy, provided insights into the compilation process of the collection. The book includes seven of Yu’s monographs and over 400 articles, encompassing unpublished articles and lecture notes in foreign languages. This comprehensive collection not only chronicles the intellectual legacy of Yu but also serves as an invaluable asset for the intellectual heritage of Fudan University’s School of Philosophy.
