The forum released the “2025 Q1 Macroeconomic Special Report,” which provides an in-depth analysis of the driving forces and future directions of China's economic development transformation. The report highlighted that while China's foreign trade remains generally stable, it is also facing several challenges, including weak import demand, ongoing supply chain restructuring, and corporate balance sheets that are susceptible to significant policy changes. In response, the research team recommended leveraging the current window of inflationary pressure in the United States to implement diversified policies in the short term. In the long term, it emphasized the need to deepen reform and opening up, advance the internationalization of the renminbi, and enhance China's influence on the international economic stage to counter external uncertainties with strategic certainty.

Keynote speeches were delivered by distinguished guests, including Wang Yiming, Vice Chairman of the China International Economic Exchange Center; Yao Yang, Director of the China Center for Economic Research, Peking University Distinguished Professor, and Professor at the National School of Development at Peking University; and Li Xunlei, Chief Economist of Zhongtai International.
